Weekly Classes are the core of our studio. In these classes, we build community. We learn to brainstorm, design, plan, and execute our artistic vision. When it goes wrong, we problem-solve together. We critique each other kindly and learn to take criticism gracefully. We grow as artists.
Our classes are academic in-style and follow the school year calendar...we're going to teach you skills and challenge you to try something new. The end goal is the learning that happens, not the product we get at the end.
Students, Pre-K through 12th grade, can register for an entire semester or on a month-to-month basis. All grade level classes are offered at both the Liberty and Platte Woods locations.

What are they going to paint? Unless it's December (watercolors) or January (acrylics), they may not paint anything!
The art world is SO BIG. Our school year is designed to expose students to just how big ART is. We focus on a different medium each month. From chalk pastels and charcoal, to ink and clay. We even do printmaking, fibers arts, and metals! Check the class description each month to learn what medium we're learning, the contemporary artist that we're studying, and the description of our project.
Can we just drop in? Or just do one class? The classes listed above are a monthly commitment. Each class builds on the next. If you're looking for a one-time class, we recommend one of our Art Camps or our Bonus Classes. We also recommend that you follow us on social media; we like to post little pop-up classes there sometimes!
Can we just TRY a class? Similar to above, if you come to only class, you won't be getting the whole picture! We don't offer trial classes; however, we do stand by our artist experience and guarantee your satisfaction. If you enroll your artist and decide after one class that it's not for you, we'll happily refund your tuition.
What if we have to miss a class? We have a make-up policy JUST for that. Wednesday nights are dedicated to studio time for our students who need to get caught up or who need some extra time on a project.
If we enroll for the semester and our schedules change, can we switch classes? As long as we have room in a class, we can switch meeting times and even studio locations. (For example, if you artist is enrolled in the Monday K/1st class at 6pm and you find out that October soccer practice is going to be on Mondays, we can switch you to the Tuesday class as long there is room in that class)
Can my kids take classes together? As long as they fit the age/grade requirement for the classes, sure. Otherwise, no.
