Our 4th and 5th graders are becoming quite the skilled artists! In our Orange Easel classes, they will have the opportunity to use materials BEYOND what they are getting in elementary school art classes, such as alcohol inks, linocut printing plates, carving tools, etc. By introducing these techniques to them at a young age, we open up the possibilities for future art creation.
Each month, we also spend time looking around the art world to see what artists are doing...we study classic, modern and contemporary art. Art is BIG. And we want to make sure our students see just how BIG it can be!
